About EdMO

EdMO, an initiative by EdNite, offers students exposure to competitive mathematics akin to Olympiad standards. Exclusive to the top 75 rankers of TReX Tricity 2023, EdMO is a two-hour test scheduled for Sunday, April 21, 2024.

The exam pattern and marking scheme are as follows:

Junior Category (Classes 6-8):

  • 20 Objective Problems: 4 marks for correct answers, -1 for wrong, 0 for unanswered
  • 4 Integer Type Problems: 6 marks for correct answers, 0 otherwise

Senior Category (Classes 9-10):

  • 20 Objective Problems: 4 marks for correct answers, -1 for wrong, 0 for unanswered
  • 4 Subjective Problems: 15 marks each

These questions, meticulously curated by past Olympiad scholars, offer students insight into the problem-solving techniques required for examinations like Pre RMO, NMTC, and other prestigious mathematics Olympiads.
